Terms & Conditions

1. REGISTRATION AND DEPOSIT

  • A registration fee of $50 per student is due upon enrolment.

  • Registration fees are non-refundable.

  • Security deposit: ​Upon registration, Ingenuity Dance requires a security deposit of $100 based on 4 weeks of lessons.

  • This deposit is not refunded upon receiving the notice of withdrawal, instead, it will be used to offset the fees billed for the last month of classes.

2. FEES

  • Course fees are collected on a term basis, each term consists of 12 weeks of lessons.

  • Lessons will be conducted by the stipulated calendar provided by Ingenuity Dance.

  • Public Holiday: ​There will be no lessons conducted on gazetted public holidays. Class fees will not be charged for the corresponding days. 

  • Classes credits are requested for monthly, deduction, or pro-rate due to absents or cannot attend. Fees will be charged an extra SGD$3 as in single pro-rate stated for each class that can attend.

  • The early bird rate will be applied only on the first 10 days of the renewal term. After 10 days of the term, the early bird rate will not be given automatically.

  • All fees Payment can be made with Cash, Bank Transfer, and PayNow  (UEN No. 202306108Z).

  • In the payment remark field, remark: < Student Name>, <Term Fee >

  • You will hear from us within 3 days upon receipt of payment.

3. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS

  • All goods and services sold by Ingenuity Dance including fees, programs, events, and merchandise are strictly not refundable, nontransferable, and non-exchangeable.

  • There is strictly no pro-rating of fees except for students joining Ingenuity dance for the first time during the middle of a term.

  • Should a student decide to discontinue lessons, 1 calendar month (30 Days) notice is required. After the 1 calendar month and after the student’s classes have been discontinued, we will refund the student deposit (if no outstanding payments). No refund of fees will be made for withdrawal from the Ingenuity Dance.

  • If a class is canceled due to the sickness of the teacher, a health epidemic, or any other seen or unforeseen event, the Ingenuity Dance will endeavor to reschedule the class. This may be on a different day or a different time or both from when the class was originally scheduled and might involve an extension to the term time dates. No refunds will be given in this case.

  • Security Deposit will not be refunded if the customer abuse company policy, tuition fees are not paid and any discrimination on the staff and policies.

4. REPLACEMENT CLASSES

  • Replacement classes are offered for student absences on the following ONLY:

          - Illness

          - Overseas holidays

          - Family Funeral

  • Strictly replacement classes only within the 12 weeks term.

  • Those who withdraw, are strictly not allowed to do replacement classes after the terms are finished.

  • Students are welcome to replace the class with different dance genres.

5. DISCOUNTS

  • Strictly no discount for the fees which is fixed by the company

  • We only can  offer a discount :

        - More than 1 dance genre

        - Sibling Discount

        - Referral Discount $20

        - Attending twice a week class

6. PHOTO / VIDEO RELEASE AND AGREEMENT

  • It is understood that Ingenuity Dance reserves the right to use any photography and/or videography of students' performances for purposes of advertising and promoting the studio.​

  • I pt for Ingenuity Dance to take photos and videos of me or my child while participating in Ingenuity Dance school classes and activities for promotional purposes.

  • All ownership (including copyright) as well as all other rights, titles, and interests in and to the photography and videography shall belong exclusively to Ingenuity Dance.

7. INJURY / INSURANCE

  • Students with an existing injury must notify the dance studio when registering, and attend classes at their own risk.

  • Parents, legal guardians of minor students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal class activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during, or after class.

  • Ingenuity Dance does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that all dance students be covered by their family insurance policies. And if injury occurs it is understood that the participant’s policy is their only source of reimbursement.

8. DATA PROTECTION

  • Ingenuity Dance holds information about our customers to enable us to carry out our business as a dance school. The information includes the contact details supplied to us and may also include information on examiners, courses, and students’ records.​

  • The company will not disclose your information to third parties except where the law allows or requires, it or where you have given your permission to do so.

9. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

  • As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless Ingenuity Dance, its owners, and operators from any liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or en route to or from any of said premises.

  • I understand that appropriate physical contact is required during the instruction of dance, and I permit instructors to make appropriate physical contact with me or my child for such instruction.

10. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

  • As the legal parent or guardian, I permit Ingenuity Dance, its owners, and operators to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian.​

  • I hereby declare that I have informed the company in writing of any physical/mental problems, restrictions, or conditions and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health.

  • If my child has influenza, SARS, COVID-19, or other contagious diseases such as measles or chickenpox am strongly advised not to attend lessons for the consideration of other students, the teachers, as well as the staff. During the outbreak of any epidemic or pandemic, I ensure that my child is fit and well before turning up for lessons.

11. PHOTO / VIDEO RELEASE AND AGREEMENT

12. DRESS CODE

  • All students must be appropriately dressed for class in correct studio uniform and correct footwear. It is ​MANDATORY for the safe and the overall well being of the student’s dance education.

  • All students must be appropriately groomed for class, with their hair tied back securely.​ All the baby hair have to off their face.

  • An instructor reserves the right to dismiss a student from class after one warning.

  • This policy must be respected, it is to benefit students and also to instill discipline and a sense of responsibility.

  • No jewelry may be worn during class (earrings, watches, etc.)

  • All belongings must be labeled.

13. EXAMINATION

  • RAD and CSTD Examination are selected and strictly assessed by teacher professionally .

  • Candidates must pay examination fees and administrative fees to Ingenuity Dance. Examination fees are not refundablce once the payment has been made.

  • Students are required to attend at least 80% attendance

  • Students are strongly required attend twice a week classes from September until May for RAD examination and once a week from November until March for CSTD Examination.

  • If students are not met the basic standard of results , Ingenuity Dance has right to withdraw students participation examination.

14. CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Ingenuity Dance reserves the right to change and modify these terms and conditions.

15. AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Terms and conditions must be accepted with appended signature of the parent and/or guardian.

​

By enrolling yourself or students in the Ingenuity Dance, parents and guardians of students attending classes are taken to have accepted the Terms and Conditions.
